How can you do this for yourself?

  • Clean up your front yard and plant some flowers and shrubs along your walkway.

  • Notice they all have potted plants by the front door welcoming guests.

  • Window boxes are another beautiful way to add instant charm.

Here’s some BUZZ FEED examples that are pretty awesome too.

  • Paint your front door – this can be just the wow factor your home needs.

  • A fresh coat of exterior paint can easily update a tired façade, plus it lets buyers know that your home is well maintained.

  • Painting an aluminum garage door to look more like a wood garage door is also a good idea.

  • Pressure wash your walkways, decks and patios! What a difference!

  • Update old and dingy light fixtures. And be sure to get them slightly larger than you think! Most people make the mistake of buying fixtures that are too small which can make your house look cheap. Architects, designers and developers know that the appropriate scale light fixtures enhance the beauty of the home.

Larger Lanterns look much better than the small ones.

We all know the saying “You never get a 2nd chance to make a great 1st impression.”

Whether it be on-line or on the street, if you want a buyer to come inside and have a look, then you will want to make sure you capture their attention with great curb appeal!
